Spend your summer holidays creating dances and or costumes and then taking part in the world famous Sunday Notting Hill Carnival procession. You will be part of an amazing spectacle, showcasing a mixture of wonderful art forms: dance, body art, costume design, prop making and carnival cooking. Everything will be created by young people working alongside professionals. You can sign up for all strands of the project or a few. Last year our dancers won first place in the MAS band competition in the modern/contemporary category on the Sunday. We hope to build on this success. We will also be giving performances at the Summer Celebration community festival in St Paul’s Park. This is a five week free project from Monday 25 July - Sunday 28 August with a party and performance on Friday 1 September. You can sign up for one or more of the project stands.
